All patients showed a presacral tumor with heterogeneous intensity on CT images. The sacrococcygeal teratomas appeared cystic with few septa in three fetuses, markedly septated or even microcystic in eight, and completely solid in one. The sonographic description of the content corresponded well to MR imaging findings in 10 of 12 fetuses. Sacrococcygeal teratomas are the most common solid tumor in newborn infants. The diagnosis is not difficult in many cases; however, there should be additional information on imaging studies in order to manage those infants properly.
